MEMORY GARDEN Split With Metal Blade, Begin Work On Fourth Full-Length CD
February 11, 2002Stockholm, Sweden's MEMORY GARDEN, featuring former ABSKTRAKT ALGEBRA guitarist Simon Johansson, have parted ways with Metal Blade Records and are currently in pre-production for their forthcoming fourth full-length CD with producer Dan Swanö (i.e. EDGE OF SANITY, NIGHTINGALE, etc.). According to Johansson, “we are working on new material and we have something like 10 songs written so far. We are currently doing pre-production on three songs and [singer] Stefan [Berglund] is doing the vocals right now. The songs feel really strong and I think the result will be great. We are working together with Dan Swanö and he has put some new ideas into the songs and I think all of you that liked our old stuff will really dig this.” As-yet-untitled, the follow-up to 2000's Mirage is tentatively scheduled to be issued at the end of the year through an as-yet-undetermined label.
